AI Memory & Document History
- AI Memory — save key takeaways from any conversation as persistent notes; the AI automatically remembers them the next time you open the PDF
- Per-document history — every chat session, summary, and translation is now saved per PDF and can be reopened with a single click
- Recent Sessions strip — horizontal list in chat showing past conversations for the current document, fully resumable
- SHA-256 fingerprinting — history persists even when the file is renamed or moved
- Auto-restore — the last summary and translation load automatically when you reopen a document

Professional Reports & Office-Ready Output
- Structured summaries — replaces plain bullet-point summaries with four sections: Executive Brief, Key Points, Verification Checklist, and Office Observations
- Translation Review — auto-extracts contract numbers, dates, amounts, emails, phone numbers, VAT IDs, and registration numbers for verification, plus a word-count delta between source and translation

A major update that brings two new AI providers, a modernized Gemini engine, automatic error recovery, and dozens of quality-of-life improvements across iPhone, iPad, and Mac.
New AI Providers
- ChatGPT (OpenAI) added as a translation, summary, and chat provider — powered by GPT-4o Mini for premium quality results
- Groq added as a translation, summary, and chat provider — powered by Llama 3.3 70B Versatile, ultra-fast with a generous free tier
- Gemini upgraded from 2.0 Flash to 2.5 Flash — more stable, faster, and better quality
- Provider picker added to Translation, Summary, and Chat — choose Gemini, ChatGPT, or Groq for every task
Removed
- Google Translate removed — deprecated by Google, replaced by the three AI providers above which deliver significantly better translations
Improvements
- Auto-retry on server errors — the app now automatically retries up to 4 times with exponential backoff (1s, 2s, 4s, 8s) when AI servers return HTTP 429, 500, 502, 503, or 504 errors
- Export PDF for summaries — summaries can now be exported as PDF in addition to TXT
- Share menu with icons — Export TXT, Export PDF, and Copy to Clipboard now display labeled icons
- Touch targets 44×44 — all header buttons (TTS, Share, View mode) now meet Apple's minimum 44×44 pixel touch target on iOS
- Platform-specific hints — iOS shows "Save to Files, share or AirDrop", macOS shows "Save to your Mac"
- All strings updated in 6 interface languages (English, Romanian, German, French, Italian, Spanish)
- Remote model configuration — AI models can be updated server-side without requiring an app update
Bug Fixes
- PDF export blank pages (iOS) — fixed a coordinate system inversion that caused exported PDFs to render as blank pages on iPhone and iPad
- Markup blocking (iOS) — fixed a bug where using Markup in the Share Sheet would freeze the app
- Google Translate API errors — resolved by removing the deprecated Google Translate dependency entirely
- Gemini 404 errors — resolved by upgrading from the deprecated Gemini 2.0 Flash to Gemini 2.5 Flash
